وبسایت ESONO.IR با هدف آموزش و گسترش سونوگرافی در طب اورژانس در آذر ماه سال ۱۳۹۸ به عنوان زیر مجموعه ای از خانه متخصصین طب اورژانس ایران فعالیت خود را آغاز نموده است.

از آنجا که با توجه به شرایط غیر قابل پیش بینی اورژانس ها و نیز لزوم تعیین تکلیف هرچه سریعتر بیماران در بخش اورژانس ، سونوگرافی یک ابزار بسیار سودمند و حائز اهمیت در اورژانس محسوب می شود و با توجه به اینکه در چند سال گذشته فیلد سونوگرافی به منابع آزمون های دانشنامه و بورد تخصصی اضافه گردیده و متاسفانه منابع کافی آموزش برای دستیاران و متخصصین طب اورژانس وجود ندارد لذا بنا بر درخواست های مکرر همکاران ، وبسایت ESONO با هدف آموزش و گسترش سونوگرافی در طب اورژانس راه اندازی ‌گردیده است .

همچنین با توجه به اینکه متخصصین طب اورژانس با مدرک فلوشیپ اولتراسوند در اورژانس های کشورهای توسعه یافته مسئولیت انجام سونوگرافی های اورژانس را برعهده دارند لذا لزوم راه اندازی این فلوشیپ در کشور ایران نیز با توجه به شرایط فعلی و شلوغی اورژانس ها ضروری و امری غیر قابل انکار بوده و لازمه اصلی آن آموزش جامع به فراگیران می  باشد.
